About Wild Roots
Wild Roots is a hiking and foraging adventures business focused on fostering a deep, grounded connection with nature. We lead small, respectful groups through local forest reserves, prioritizing safety and seasonal discovery above all else.
Our Story
Wild Roots began not as a business plan, but as a lifelong conversation with the local landscape. Growing up steps away from the tree line, I spent my formative years tracing deer paths and learning the seasonal rhythms of the forest floor, eventually turning a personal obsession with wild foods into a way of life.
After years of exploring hidden trails and refining the art of ethical foraging, I felt a calling to share this grounded perspective with others. Wild Roots was founded to provide a respectful bridge to the outdoors—a place where people can slow down, look closer, and rediscover their place within the natural world.
